Annual Report

Staff at SCC holds high expectations for all students. In accordance with Michigan CTE standards, data is collected annually to measure the success of students who complete a program at SCC. These Core Performance Indicators (CPIs) include these categories:

  • Academic attainment in reading, language arts and mathematics;
  • Technical skill attainment
  • High School graduation rate
  • Placement
  • Nontraditional participation

The annual report contains follow up study data that is used to measure the preparedness of SCC graduates for post-secondary education and the world of work. Previous years’ data for placement rate is:

Although the official 2010-2011 data from the state has not been received, the unofficial results from SCC are included here, based on a 98% response rate. The response group includes all approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) program completers including those graduates identified by Michigan Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) to be followed up. Placement rate for 10-11 was 97%. Other statistics from graduate follow-up survey of 2010 graduates:
